On November 16, 2019, the subclass 494 visa superseded the 187 Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS). A total of 10,000 visas are available each year. The Importance of Work Experience
While applying for a visa, all candidates must establish a history of employment. It is important to check that the candidate has acquired the requisite abilities to help a region’s economy.
It is necessary to demonstrate that the visa holder can work in the selected occupation and do activities at the same level as specified in the closely related field.
Recognizing the duration of full-time work
